Tips for using WP Tables Reloaded

WP-Table Reloaded enables you to create and manage tables in your WP’s admin area. No HTML knowledge is needed. A comfortable backend allows to easily edit table data. Tables can contain any type of data and additional JavaScript libraries can be used to extend it with features like sorting, pagination, filtering, and more. You can include the tables into your posts, on your pages or in text widgets by using a shortcode or a template tag function. Tables can be imported and exported from/to CSV, XML and HTML.

The easiest way to update a table from another site is as follows:

Step 2:

Go to the admin area of the table you want to export. Select ‘Export a table’… make sure you have selected the correct table to export from the drop down list.

Step 3

Step 3:

Save the file to where you know you can find it.

Step 4

Step 4:

The file will export as a CRV file…

Step 5

Step 5:

Go to the admin area of the site where you want to import the new table.

Step 6:

When imported you should check that the content is looking correct.
Change table title and description. Leave ID for now.

Step 7:

If you are happy with the table above you next need to delete the old table.

Roll over the table title and then select ‘trash’.

Step 8:

When you have deleted the old table you can then change the ID of the new table to ‘1’. This will mean that this new table will replace the correct table on the site.

Step 9:

You should be left with the new table with the correct ID.
View in your site to make sure all OK.
